SpindleBench Processing Setup Utility
User Agreement

Know the setup.
Own the cut.

SpindleBench turns your trusted shop inputs into transparent starting parameters for milling, turning, drilling and tapping. Please review these terms before you continue.

Terms for responsible use

This User Agreement governs your access to and use of SpindleBench. In this agreement, “you” means the person using the app, and “we,” “us,” or “our” means the developer and operator of SpindleBench.

Effective August 27, 2026
01

Acceptance and eligibility

By selecting “Agree & Continue,” accessing, or using SpindleBench, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this agreement. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the app.

You must be legally capable of accepting these terms. If local law requires the consent of a parent, guardian, employer, or workshop supervisor, you may use the app only with that consent and supervision.

02

What SpindleBench provides

SpindleBench helps you organize materials, tools, machines and processes into reusable processing setups. Based on the values you enter, it can calculate spindle speed, feed rate, material removal rate and estimated processing time for milling, turning, drilling and tapping.

The app may also let you:

  • Save, search, reopen, copy and delete machines, tools, materials and setups.
  • Review calculation assumptions, formulas, limit prompts and warnings.
  • Use a pre-cutting checklist for tooling, stock, clamping and machine checks.
  • Export local backups or setup sheets for handover and reuse.
03

Starting parameters, not guaranteed values

Every result is an initial reference derived from the inputs and assumptions shown in the app. It is not a guaranteed, certified, validated, or manufacturer-approved cutting value. Results can be unsuitable because of incorrect inputs, material or tool variation, machine condition, software limitations, or factors the app cannot observe.

Example milling data is included only to demonstrate the complete workflow—from calculation and warning review to saving a setup. Example data does not represent a manufacturer’s recommendation and must not be treated as production-ready.

04

Your safety and verification duties

Before cutting, you must independently verify the manufacturer’s data, tool and holder ratings, material specification, workholding, machine limits and condition, coolant or lubrication requirements, program and offsets, and all applicable shop procedures. Start conservatively and monitor the operation using appropriate professional judgment.

Warnings and checklists are aids only. They cannot identify every unsafe condition or replace training, supervision, risk assessment, guarding, personal protective equipment, lockout procedures, or the machine manufacturer’s instructions.

Stop when anything does not match the real setup.

Never rely on the app where an error could cause injury, equipment damage, fire, scrap, or another hazardous condition without independent verification by a qualified person.

05

Local records and exports

SpindleBench is designed to work without an internet connection, account, subscription, advertisement, tracking, or AI service. Setups and related records are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export them.

You are responsible for checking saved and exported data before reuse, maintaining appropriate backups, controlling access to exported files, and confirming that old settings still match the current machine, tool, material and process. App deletion, device loss, operating-system actions, or file replacement may cause data loss.

06

License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SpindleBench in accordance with this agreement and applicable law. You may use your own exported setup sheets and backups for normal personal or workshop purposes.

You must not misuse the app, attempt to bypass its security, interfere with its operation, use it unlawfully, misrepresent its output as certified engineering data, or copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or resell the app except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.

07

Availability and changes

We may correct calculations, change defaults or prompts, add or remove features, or update the app and these terms. Features may vary by app version, device, language, region, operating system, or appearance settings. We do not promise that every feature or file format will remain available or backward-compatible.

When terms change materially, the effective date will be updated and you may be asked to accept the revised agreement before continuing to use the app.

08

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpindleBench and all calculations, prompts, examples, records, exports and other content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation and any particular machining or production outcome.

09

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or production-related loss arising from use of or inability to use the app, reliance on a result, an unsafe or unsuitable setup, damage to tools, workpieces or machines, downtime, lost production, lost profit, or loss of local data. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

10

General terms

This agreement is governed by applicable law without limiting mandatory rights that apply where you live. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

This agreement is the entire agreement between you and us concerning your use of SpindleBench, except for any mandatory platform terms or laws that also apply.
